Keep putting in the time and effort, you are closer to your goal than when you started! In Step 2, we build on your knowledge of college baseball and start to learn more about what it will take for you to get recruited. To move you forward, we take a step back and look at the 30,000 foot view of the recruiting process from start to finish. When you are through Step 2, you’ll know what you are going to have to do and when you will have to do it. Step 2 sets the stage for creating a personal plan to get recruited. During this step, you can expect to learn about:
- The steps you will have to take to stay on track for college baseball
- The tasks you will have to complete to get recruited
- NCAA rules and eligibility requirements and why they matter RIGHT NOW!
- Why managing your recruiting process yourself (rather than paying to have someone do it for you) gives you the best chance at success

Like Step 1, learning what it takes to get recruited is an ongoing process. There is so much to learn about the recruiting process and how you can find a college fit, even experts like us are still learning! We believe that the more informed you are on the recruiting process, the more informed your decision-making will be, and the better your chance at finding a college fit.
Use the Step 2 guide the same way you used Step 1. Complete the learning objectives, finish the action items, read the resources, and continue to research and explore. All the time and effort you put into learning about the recruiting process will pay off in a big way during Step 3 when you begin to map out your personalized plan for getting recruited!
