Our Registration Assistance Program (RAP) partners with youth baseball leagues to directly pay league fees for families who cannot afford them, eliminating financial barriers to participation.
The first facet of KPB’s Registration Assistance Program (RAP) is providing direct aid to pay league fees for families who can’t afford to.
KPB seeks out and partners with youth baseball leagues who have a system for providing aid to players with a demonstrated financial need. We then work with the league to determine how much aid is needed to cover the cost of participants experiencing financial hardship and write a check to cover those costs in part or in whole.
Another aspect of our registration assistance is helping leagues build capacity to create and run their own registration assistance. This includes:
Since launching our the KPB RAP in 2021, we’ve helped pay league fees for over three dozen players and partnered with 3 leagues to provide financial aid and capacity building support.
If your league is interested in partnering with KPB to build out a registration assistance program or inquire about receiving aid to help provide opportunities for players from families experiencing financial hardship, send an email to: Ethan@Keepplayingbaseball.org or fill out the form below.
