Congratulations on the big decision! A lot of hard work has gone into this moment, and you deserve it. You’ll notice the ‘Read This’ section of Step 9 is rather light. That’s because this step is about taking action. You’ll want to read the handful of articles that are in this section, as they have important information about how to commit in a way that will keep you in everyone’s good graces. This is a happy time and you should enjoy it, but recruits make mistakes, even when it comes to committing. You should know that this is not the end of the recruiting process and your commitment means you should work harder than ever to keep it and show up prepared to compete for a starting spot from day 1.
These topics and keywords are particularly useful for Step 9: Committing, Reputation/Character, Communication, Decision-Making
Even though you’ve committed, there is plenty left to learn and do. Continue to visit the KPB yearly page for your grade and get things done on your printable annual checklists that we have compiled to keep you on track for college baseball!
